Anatomical terms are scientific names for body parts and their functions. Use accurate words respectfully so health information is not misunderstood. Personal privacy remains important while learning about the reproductive system.
Example: Say uterus, testes, and nerves when explaining functions rather than using teasing or vague labels.
The testes produce sperm, while the penis transfers semen containing sperm into the vagina. Match each organ with the action that describes its function. Producing a reproductive cell is different from transporting it.
Example: Use the pairs “testes–produce sperm” and “penis–transfers semen” in a function map.
Ovari menghasilkan ovum.
The ovaries produce ova. The fallopian tubes carry an ovum toward the uterus and are the usual site of fertilisation. The uterus supports embryo and fetus development, while the vagina is the passage for sperm entry and birth.
Example: Organise the functions as production, transport, development site, and passage so each organ remains distinct.
persenyawaan = 受精
fertilisation = 受精
Fertilisation occurs when one sperm successfully fuses with one ovum, usually in a fallopian tube. The fusion forms a zygote containing genetic material from both parents. This is the beginning of a new individual’s development.
Example: Sperm travel through the vagina and uterus toward a fallopian tube; one sperm fusing with an ovum forms a zygote.
implantasi = 着床
implantation = 着床
The zygote divides into more cells while moving toward the uterus. When the group of cells attaches to the inner lining of the uterus, the process is called implantation. Development then continues as an embryo in the uterus.
Example: Use the sequence zygote, cell division, movement, implantation, and embryo to explain the early stages.
placenta, umbilical cord and amniotic fluid = 胎盘、脐带与羊水
The placenta is an exchange area for oxygen, nutrients, and some wastes between mother and fetus without their blood normally mixing directly. The umbilical cord connects the fetus to the placenta, while amniotic fluid cushions physical shocks.
Example: Think of the placenta as an exchange area, the cord as a connection, and amniotic fluid as a protective cushion.
Fetus membesar dalam rahim sepanjang tempoh kehamilan kira-kira sembilan bulan. Menjelang kelahiran, pengecutan otot rahim membantu bayi bergerak keluar melalui faraj. Pembiakan penting kerana memastikan generasi manusia dapat diteruskan.
Contoh: Susun proses sebagai persenyawaan, implantasi, embrio, fetus, kemudian kelahiran untuk menunjukkan hubungan masa.
birth and continuation of the species = 出生与物种延续
The fetus grows in the uterus during a pregnancy of about nine months. Near birth, contractions of the uterine muscles help the baby move out through the vagina. Reproduction matters because it allows human generations to continue.
Example: Arrange the process as fertilisation, implantation, embryo, fetus, and birth to show the time relationship.
The central nervous system consists of the brain and spinal cord. The peripheral nervous system includes nerves that connect this control centre with sense organs, muscles, and internal organs. Both systems cooperate to receive and send information.
Example: In a chart, place the brain and spinal cord in the centre, then connect peripheral nerves to hands, legs, eyes, and organs.
The brain receives and processes information, selects a response, and sends instructions. It also supports thinking, memory, emotion, and coordination of body activities. An appropriate response depends on accurate information arriving from the senses.
Example: When a ball approaches, the brain interprets its direction and speed before directing the hands to move or the body to avoid it.
In the Chinese textbook, this term means involuntary actions such as heartbeat, breathing and digestion that happen without a conscious decision. Its opposite term means voluntary actions, which are body movements consciously controlled by the brain, such as speaking and dancing. Learn the Chinese terms carefully because they differ from everyday wording.
Example: The heart keeps beating while we sleep, but we consciously choose to raise a hand to answer a question.
A receptor or sense organ detects a stimulus, and peripheral nerves carry the information to the central nervous system. After processing, instructions travel through peripheral nerves to an effector such as a muscle or gland. The effector then produces a response.
Example: Bright light is detected by the eyes, processed centrally, and followed by instructions that make the pupils smaller.
caring for the nervous system = 照顾神经系统
Damage to a peripheral nerve can disrupt sensation or movement in the body part it serves. Protect the brain and spinal cord with helmets, seat belts, correct posture, sufficient rest, balanced nutrition, and avoidance of alcohol and drugs.
Example: An injured nerve in the foot may affect foot sensation or movement, not necessarily every part of the body.
The item asks for the order from stimulus to response in a consciously controlled action. Identify the sense organ that detects, the nerves carrying information to the brain, the decision in the brain, the nerves carrying the instruction and the muscle that acts. Reject any choice that removes the brain.
Example: When someone hears their name called, the ear detects the sound and the brain instructs the neck muscles to turn the head.

This unit connects reproductive-organ functions, the sequence from fertilisation to birth, the continuation of the species, and nervous-system structure and function. Learners should use accurate terms, arrange processes in time, and explain responses through an information pathway.
Example: Build two maps: one timeline from zygote to birth and one pathway from stimulus to response.
