respons terhadap maklumat = 对资料作出回应

先听出人物、情况和需要，再决定回应目的：确认、关心、询问或提供帮助。有效回应必须与听到的资料直接相关，也不能凭空增加事实。若资料不完整，可以礼貌追问。

例子： 听到朋友脚踝扭伤需要休息，可先表示理解，再询问适合探望的时间。

response to information = respons terhadap maklumat

Identify the person, situation, need, and possible action before replying. An effective response shows that the information was understood and then adds a relevant acknowledgement, question, or offer. Do not invent a fact that was never stated; ask courteously when an important detail is missing.

Example: After hearing that a friend has a sprained ankle and needs rest, acknowledge the condition and ask when a visit would be suitable.

merujuk kamus = 查阅词典

查词不能只抄第一个释义，还要检查读音、拼写、词类和例句是否符合当前语境。电子资料方便快速搜索，但仍应选择可靠来源，并把词放回完整句子验证。近形词更需要比较。

例子： 查询 muafakat 时，可记录“共同协议”的意思，再用“居民讨论后达成协议”检验用法。

consult a dictionary = merujuk kamus

A useful dictionary check includes meaning, pronunciation, spelling, and contextual use rather than only the first definition. Electronic references are fast, but the source should be reliable and the word must still be tested in a complete sentence. Compare entries carefully when two forms look similar.

Example: For “muafakat,” record the idea of shared agreement and test it in a sentence about residents reaching agreement after discussion.

mengedit dan memurnikan = 修改与润饰

修改是找出错误，润饰则让句子正确、清楚而自然。可分四轮检查：拼写、标点、词缀和句子流畅度，避免一次处理太多项目而漏掉问题。改完后必须重读。

例子： 句子 kami mengunjung... 缺少正确后缀，也漏了句首和专名大写；修正时仍要保留原本事件。

edit and refine = mengedit dan memurnikan

Editing identifies errors, while refining makes a sentence correct, clear, and natural. Check one layer at a time: spelling, punctuation, affixes, and sentence flow. A final rereading confirms that the correction has not changed the intended event or introduced a new mistake.

Example: In “kami mengunjung... hari sabtu,” correct the affix and capital letters while keeping the original meaning of the visit.

tulisan Jawi = 爪夷文字

Jawi 使用阿拉伯字母体系书写马来语，阅读方向由右至左。辨认日常物件上的 Jawi 时，可先看熟悉的地点和语境，再逐字母核对拉丁字母词。展示时要保持字母连接和方向正确。

例子： 校门上的 سلامت داتڠ 表示 Selamat Datang，可先根据迎宾情境推测，再核对字形。

Jawi script = tulisan Jawi

Jawi writes Malay with an Arabic-based script and is read from right to left. When identifying Jawi on a daily object, use the place and context as clues, then compare the letters with the familiar Rumi word. Display it neatly with the correct direction and letter connections.

Example: A school-gate phrase such as “سلامت داتڠ” can be inferred from the welcoming context and checked against “Selamat Datang.”.

imbuhan apitan = 环缀

环缀同时加在词根前后，不能只看其中一边。例如 ke-...-an、peN-...-an 和 meN-...-kan 会改变词形和句中功能。先圈出词根，再检查前后两部分是否配成完整组合，并把新词放入句子验证意思。若只出现前半或后半，应重新检查词根与词形。

例子： harmoni 加 ke-...-an 成为 keharmonian；erat 加 meN-...-kan 成为 mengeratkan。

circumfix = imbuhan apitan

A circumfix places a matched pair around a root, so the beginning and ending must be considered together. Patterns such as “ke-...-an,” “peN-...-an,” and “meN-...-kan” may change both form and sentence function. Identify the root first, then verify the full pair.

Example: “Harmoni” becomes “keharmonian” with “ke-...-an,” while “erat” becomes “mengeratkan” with “meN-...-kan.”.

respons berkaitan = 相关回应

题目要求判断哪一句真正回应“生病而不能参加”的资料。先找人物的情况和需要，再检查回应是否表示理解，并提出相关关心或帮助。不要根据句子长短选择。

例子： 合适回应会围绕休息、通知或补回资料，但抽屉不会指出选项位置。

relevant response = respons berkaitan

The question asks which reply genuinely responds to being ill and unable to attend. Identify the condition and likely need, then look for an acknowledgement plus a related offer or question. Do not choose by sentence length or by a word that merely repeats the topic.

Example: A suitable reply may address rest, communication, or missed notes without revealing an option position.

同心和谐总结 = rumusan hidup harmoni

完成 Unit 10 后，你应能从聆听资料辨认情况和需要，再作相关回应；查词时同时核对意思、读音、拼写和用法。修改文字要分层检查，Jawi 要依字形笔画核对，而环缀则从词根前后一起辨认。

例子： 听到邻居需要帮助后，可先确认需要并提出行动，再查 muafakat 的标准用法写成完整句子。

living in harmony summary = rumusan hidup harmoni

After Unit 10, you should identify a situation and need from spoken information before giving a relevant response. Check meaning, pronunciation, spelling, and use when consulting a reference. Edit in separate layers, compare Jawi letter forms carefully, and identify a circumfix on both sides of its root.

Example: After hearing that a neighbour needs help, acknowledge the need, offer an action, and verify the standard use of “muafakat” in a complete sentence.
